MTC Motorsport BMW N54 135i 335i stepped front mount intercooler in SILVER, also fits many other models. You may ask why we have 2 different intercoolers for sale for the N54 engine. This is simple this is a massive intercooler for the N54 that will deal with over 600bhp no problems and the other bar and plate one we sell has made over 450bhp still with good temps but doesnt have the step on the front and has a smaller volume.
The intercoolers have been tried and tested and are on a few vehicles already with absolutely fantastic results. The temps compared to the standard intercooler are so much lower. The standard intercooler and the MTC intercooler both had intercooler intake temperatures of 100 degrees through 3 runs. At the other side of the intercooler into the engine the standard intercooler temps were around 70 degrees whereas the MTC intercooler temperatures were low 20's on a standard car over all 3 runs which is absolutely fantastic! Massive 5 bar and plate core Intercooler with flowed cast end tanks. Provides near 100% more volume and 100% more surface area than the standard intercooler. Competition core provides the best cooling properties. Intercooler is painted silver with the machined alloy ends left bare. Fitting will take 1-2 hours. The intercoolers are in stock and ready to dispatch same day if ordered before 12 o'clock. The intercoolers are a direct fit and wouldn't say it was a hard job.As good as if not the best intercooler on the market for the BMW's at the moment. We don't have any BLACK in stock.
