Ford has done a great job on many things with the eco boost but condensation is lacking.
The stock plastic end tanks gather water and it can get sucked up into your turbo / inlets when the truck revs - many issues have been reported. Our cooler is an upgraded performance cooler that is great for trucks that are in hotter states or that also tow or are a daily driver and you want some better performance. This cooler fits all years and on some models you will need to make a minor adjustment to your bracket for install. All necessary installation items are included. CONSTRUCTION is high quality Bar and plate.
A bar-and-plate core can take the damage of front-mount life and endure high boost without flinching. Sealing is superior in bar-and-plate units because the bars and brazing sheets run the length of the unit, providing a 100-percent seal between the ambient and charge sides. Black Heat coating was applied for looks and extra benefit of cooling. IAT2 temp logged were consistent with lowering intake temps. We data logged 2011 Fx4 3level with AAL.
3.73 gears 275/65/20 10ply. Running 91 intune on 93 fuel - ran 14 degrees cooler - Intake temp of 80 - ambient temp 94.7.
