We have engineered these intercoolers using the same bar and plate core that we use on all of our other intercoolers as this is the most efficient way of keeping intake temperatures to a minimum. We have tested our newly designed intercooler on several vehicles and found they have absolutely fantastic results. The IAT compared to the standard intercooler is reduced massively which means you get consistent increased performance. The standard intercooler and the MTC intercooler both had intercooler intake temperatures of between 125-140 degrees through 3 runs on the road. At the other side of the intercooler into the engine the standard intercooler temperatures were around 55 degrees whereas the MTC intercooler temperatures were between 23-25 degrees over all 3rd and 4th gear pulls on the road with 13 degree outside temperature.

These cores are tested individually to 3 bar and are proven to flow 400bhp without any problems. The MTC intercooler features a massive stepped core and has a 53mm OD inlet and outlet that works with the standard hoses and also ours. This intercooler will massively improve throttle response in comparison to the standard intercooler. It is very easy to fit as it is a direct replacement. There are also some great videos on YouTube to follow. Fitting should take around 1-2 hours. There is no drilling required although it may require some trimming of the lower grill on some models. We offer 2 slightly different intercoolers for this model. The main difference between this intercooler and the other is the end tanks and fitment.
